A watchmaker is an artisan who makes and repairs watches. Since a majority of watches are now factory-made, most modern watchmakers only repair watches. However, originally they were master craftsmen who built watches, including all their parts, by hand.

Justice Magagane is our master of knowledge and co-owner of the business, having qualified in 1978 as Watchmaker from the Watchmakers of Switzerland Technical Centre in Pretoria. This specialised technical centre has since closed down. With 45+ years as Watchmaker under his belt, there is little anyone can tell Justice about the machinations of watches…
